I have read everywhere trying to figure out what I need to do. I have a v7 ps2 with a dms4 ezi pro installed. My first question is: When I install this str8 out of the package will it do anything different when I start my ps2. I notice no difference right now. Does this mean its not installed right?? If I need to do something different, let me know!!! i just took the mod chip str8 out of the package and installed the no solder chip. Please help!!!! I tried to copy a game with alcohol 120 and I get the infamous red screen I have read up on so much. Will someone point me to a instruction guide on how to get the DMS4 ezi pro running correctly or tell me?? Please! Thanks for you help!

you have to flash it with a new bios to play burnt games.

also READ THE INSTRUCTIONS for how to burn it once
you downloaded it.
Then play it in your PSTwo
You may want to ask around and see which flash you need
You will be safe with ToxicBIOS V1.3 because all the chips
can use that. But i know they make ToxicOS V0.3 which is what
the DMS4 Pro chip takes, but only the DMS4 Pro as far as i know
Not sure if the DMS4 EZI Pro can use the ToxicOS.

Ok I was trying to put the Toxic OS on.....Now I am having a problem with this one, and YES I completely read the directions. but what does it mean when they say this??
"If you have verified that the disc contents are correct but the disc will still not boot on your console (you get a RSOD) then there are a few possibilities:
You have a problem with your installation, most likely the CDVD points O-W."
I dont know what CDVD points O-W are?? I had the no solder so im pretty sure its not me installation.
Got any suggestions??

I think those points are for the soldered in chips.
As far as verifing the disc, they mean that after
you burn it did you open up the discs contents on your
PC and check to make sure all the files that are suppose
to be there, are actually there.
and i would really try the ToxicBIOS V1.3 first, and not the ToxicOS
as i said above i think that the ToxicOS is only for
the DMS4 Pro (soldered in chip)
not the DMS4 EZI Pro.
I could be incorrect, but i know the ToxicBIOS will work with
all of them and that is why you should try that first.

Yes I am now. Tossed out the OS. Yes I did look at the disc contents too. It was good to go. I'm trying a burn on another computer and other media right now. But my hopes aren't very high.

DOH!!! It didnt work :( I actually got one screen to say DMS4 chip disabled but nothing after that :( What do I do??? i have tried holding [],X,^ and O. What do i need to do :( helllllp!!! (I know im pathetic I just want this to work!).

I can only get it to say DMS4 Disabled.....Reset your console now.
This only happens when I hold square on the restart. I have held L1 to see if that helps, but it dont. Help :(

i suppose when it says to reset you press the reset right?
i have not had to flash my chip yet because i bought my
slim premodded. I would go to the above link and search
the forums. There is bound to be some answers there because
everyone there ahs a chip, and a lot of people have had problems
trying to flash it with upgrades.
But it sounds like you are real close. Probably something small
that will really piss you off once you find it.

It was!!! Had to burn a certain way different then the thread you showed me. Then had to the the 3x restart thingy. Where you reset your system three times fast. Thanks for your help though. Peace

no problem, tryed my best never having done it
so it's all working now?
you'll love having a chip
no more rebuilding games, swapping, or problems with games
from different regions.
If there are settings on your chip like my pro make sure
you go into them and set it to force all games to your region
like mine is set to force NTSC mode
also set Y position fix to yes.

I used Nero and dvd decryptor and neither worked.....I also used higher quality dvd's and it didnt work I said F it and got a network adapter and hdd :)

So let me get this right. After you flashed the DMS4 by putting in a network adapter and HDD, it now works flawlessly? Loads all backups?
If so, can you please (pretty please) provide some instructions on how to use the HDD to flash the DMS4. I am an absolute noob when it comes to mods. I will appreciate all your help.

You need to install the dms4 pro and then make a flash cd to flash the bios...I am also a noob at this. PM that steimy guy he is a nice guy and knows his stuff. He is the one who helped me with gettin my bios flashed. Good luck bro, Nate

yes, go to the website that Daniel_G just posted
If you have a DMS4 Pro you need TOxicOS V0.3
If you have the DMS4 Lite you need ToxicBIOS V1.3
you download it, burn it to a CD and run it in your PS2
there should be instructions there on how to do this. But if i
remember correctly they are Bin and Cue files. So you just use a CD burning program and select the Cue file and burn it to CD
