evilmodda can u make a modded map 4 me. my maps dont work. i really want only the basics like autoaim, super jump, and speed run, and like full auto guns. CAN U PLZ HELP ME!!!

I'm in need of some serous help.
I sortmodded my xbox last week using the splinter cell and action replay method i made a backup of my ms dashboard but not my emprom.
And today i downloaded the auto installer v2.11 burn't it to a disc and ran it in my xbox. Choose the dashboard option and clicked install MS dash board i then rebooted by xbox and i get the "error 21 - service required"
Now i deleted my linux installers and have no way of FTPing into my xbox and the autoinstaller disc won't run.
so what do i do i've read guides on hot swapping but i don't really know how to do it and don't have a backup of my epromm or my MS dash any more.
please tell me this isn't the end of my xbox modding days :(

how do i add maps to halo 2 main menu.
say i have the original coagulation and i modded it but i dont want to replace it. and i want to have an extra map with mod tests. so how do i add the test map to the main menu?

You can't you have to replace it if it is a mod of the map...otherwise you will click on the menu part for the modded one...and instead of launching the map it'll just keep looping back to the map menu...
But if your bent on trying it isn in the global variables [matg] i think in DOTHalo...you have to adjust how many menu items there are and such...and put in a description etc...

hey whats up evil?? first off you sound like you know what you are talking about. secondly, i need help. i just installed the xenium sp.ice chip into my v1.6 box and i wanna create maps for halo 2(mod) but im sooooo new to this scene it only gets worse for you. haha. i have programs like "dothalo, winrar, flashfxp, mirc." what the heck do i do with those and is there anything else i need or, do i not need any one or two of the listed programs? also, how do i transfer data to and from my xbox??? i am connected to a router wich is connected to my pc. and i dont know how or where to find the "non-modded" maps to download into my pc(ive looked) to begin tweaking the maps to my needs. ive got q's, hope u have a's. thanks alot.

please remove that email, its for your own good there are a lot of spamers out there that love to see those kinda stuff,
but ya you should do some research dude, try and find like every single softmod tut in excistince, after that if you dont understand the you can ask question,
but who am i to tell you what to do, im just givin u a sugestion, and if you want to send e-mail adress, do that with privet messages ;)

ok. this one might not be to tough for you.i got my xbox modded and everthing is sweet. its like a successtory, but not so fast because i cant find any modds specifically for me. ya know somthing fun and easy for me to kill my friends. so i was woundering if you had any expirence with dothalo. i tried using it before but the tutorial wasnt to helpful of what to do if you mess up or cant get it to work and i cant get dothalo to open. so if you have any advice help me out please or if you know of another ppf creator.

Hey everyone..... I FINALLY GOT MY MAPS WORKING!!!! yeah it is sweet. i modded all my maps with cool stuff and watnot. i have another question though. how do u mod old maps like coag and ascension? and to make room can i delete a map straight from the disc? any help will be appreciated.

ok i have bit of a problem....when i try to flash bios onto my chip (xenium sp.ice) it says "error:file doesnt fit" what am i doing wrong or do i need to remove anything from my xbox? i also tried to upload "evox dash build 3935" and nothing happens. do i need to add the bios first? im soooo frustrated!!! anyone help.

Alright guys, I am new to modding maps on Halo 2. I have a softmodded box, I can FTP to it. I have an original version of Halo 2 copied, backed up etc. I am able to burn straight multiplayer versions on CD-R and DVD-R successfully. I am even able to apply Serenity patches and .ppf skins. The big confusion in all of this is how to (easily) add maps to mainmenu.map. I saw an easy method in a turorial but the author didn't mention which program he/she used (it was a purple-blue looking app that allowed you to add slots and details etc.). I think that if someone can let me know what program to use and where to download it, that I could complete this saga of understanding the whole process (at a newbie level of course). I seem fine adding a map using a serenity patch, but am not doing as well as I hoped with .ppf's. So, please help me understand how to add maps to the menu for multiplayer. Also, is there something I need to do to get an FTPd version of Halo 2 (on drive E:) to actually work? It just reads as the disk is corrupt when attempting that. That would save me A LOT of wasted CDs/DVDs. I truly appreciate ANY and ALL help anyone has to offer. I have spent WAY too much time without the intended results that I have been craving. ok.let me get this straight. i just softmodded my xbox and i want to go onto xbox live. do i just need to put the disk in and i'll be fine or do i need to burn a virgin eeprom to my hard drive? and if so what is the easiest way to do it?
