its strange my stand alone sony dvd player thats 4 years old will play dvd-r or dvd+r but my xbox wont play some dvd-r but will play dvd+r and its only a year old..

ps2 and xbox can be very picky on the type of discs used! i use ritek (ritek GO5) dye info they play on my xbox / ps2 / pc 4x drives / 5 standalone players...

there was a thread a while back where some guy said his would only play DVD-R....i just play my movies on my computer & stand alone players
