I play socom 2 online with my ps2 and the connection isn't that great... i get disconnected a lot. I was wondering if opening ports and forwarding them to my router would help or not. And also what ports do i need to open? I know how to open ports and do port forwarding, i just need to know what ports.

Have you searched AD at all? The same goes for BitTorrent as far as port fowarding goes, just search and you'll find a bunch of stuff. In fact, I think I remember seeing a thread that was stickied somewhere, so it shouldn't be too hard to find.

If socom 2 is your game of choice then search the solcom 2 forums where you'll find info on the best ports to open..every online game uses similar or the same ports,but a few use other ports for better online gaming..
