Unique Disk Identifier:[DVD+R:Ritek-R03-002]
Disk & Book Type: [DVD+R]
Manufacturer Name: [Ritek Corp.]
Manufacturer ID: [Ritek]
Media Type ID: [R03]
Product Revision: [002]
Blank Disk Capacity: [2,295,104 Sectors = 4.70GB (4.38GiB)]
Recording Speeds: [1x-2.4x, 4x, 6x-8x]

Is this code normal to have a Ritek code with a Fujifilm name? I dont know anything about these codes, thats why i'm asking. Just learnt about these codes like 3 days ago. And does anyone know if these are good disks?

Yes it is normal and yes it is good media. I think the DVD+R that are made in Japan are a little better.

That must be the taiwanese fuji +8x.I haven't seen any posts on them yet.
The japanese fuji +8x are Yuden000-T02. I can't complain about either of those manufacturers. Very good!!!!!! I look for Made in Japan on those wrappers of sony/fuji/and maxell.

I also get the MID code on the taiwanese Maxell +8x and the Office Depot brand +8x with the ritek-r03 and all performed over 99% success and playback rate.

good coding and Riteks are GOOD media, nothing to fret/worry about there saleenGT~

as neodave stated, i prefer the Japanese made ones a little better too~ :) those Riteks are ALWAYS made in taiwan~ :) nothing wrong with that, but, if you can find the MIJ (made in japan) ones under the fujifilm brand...i would get those first~ nothing, IN MY OPINION, beats a good, genuine Taiyo Yuden manufactured disc~ :)

Recommended Media:

Taiyo Yuden 4x dvd-r TYGO1/ 8x dvd-r TYGO2/ 8x dvd+r YUDEN000T02/ 16x dvd+r YUDEN000T03
Verbatim 8x dvd+r MCC003
Verbatim dvd+r DL (MKM001)= flawless no compression backups
