I received this in an e-mail from a friend yesterday. I don't know much about American politics or American History but I was quite amused by it. I don't know if any of the facts stated are false or untrue but I cant be arsed to look up so don't hate on me if this is a bunch of BS.
Anyway here it goes.

History Lesson
Have a history teacher explain this----- if they can.
Abraham Lincoln was elected to Congress in 1846.
John F. Kennedy was elected to Congress in 1946.
Abraham Lincoln was elected President in 1860.
John F. Kennedy was elected President in 1960.
Both were particularly concerned with civil rights.
Both wives lost their children while living in the White House.
Both Presidents were shot on a Friday.
Both Presidents were shot in the head.
Now it gets really weird.
Lincoln 's secretary was named Kennedy.
Kennedy's Secretary was named Lincoln.
Both were assassinated by Southerners.
Both were succeeded by Southerners named Johnson.
Andrew Johnson, who succeeded Lincoln, was born in 1808.
Lyndon Johnson, who succeeded Kennedy, was born in 1908.
John Wilkes Booth, who assassinated Lincoln, was born in 1839.
Lee Harvey Oswald, who assassinated Kennedy, was born in 1939.
Both assassins were known by their three names.
Both names are composed of fifteen letters.
Now hang on to your seat.
Lincoln was shot at the theatre named 'Ford.'
Kennedy was shot in a car called 'Lincoln' made by 'Ford.'
Lincoln was shot in a theatre and his assassin ran and hid in a
warehouse.
Kennedy was shot from a warehouse and his assassin ran and hid in a
theatre.
Booth and Oswald were assassinated before their trials.
And here's the kicker...
A week before Lincoln was shot, he was in Monroe, Maryland
A week before Kennedy was shot, he was with Marilyn Monroe.

The gist of the information is true. I first saw this "article", in a newspaper, about 40 years ago, when I was still in high school.

i personally would really like to see a BRAIN implode...all i can say that i've seen is what the inside is like when i cut it open, but, imploding..now THAT would be a sight~ :)
interesting coincidences w/ Lincoln & Kennedy~ even if the factual dates are somewhat slurred, the chance of things happening with such uncanny accuracy is amazing~

wow, deadbeat9 had a fair few posts so should have known better, then again most of his stuff was PS2 related so maybe he was a teen (nothing against teens in general as there are a couple out there who are ok!)

@Alien13 - i did deliberately phrase that the way i did, due to you and Kinza being the only young un's (that i could think of at the time) that aren't annoying and in fact worth listening to :)
