hi,i cant say nothing about mod chips as ive only got sm 3.6,but it works like a charm the only game ive had trouble with is fifa street, but all it needed was a patch wich u get from there site, but i guess its what you like the best, but if your ps2 has a warrenty get sm3.6 as it does not void it

If you an online gamer and looking forward to playing your backups online u have to get the Swap Magic disks. if you just looking for playing backups and beating them then ill recomend a chip. A DMS4 Pro would be good or Matrix Infinity!

swap magic 3.6 works great. the downsides is the swapping and abilty to not play duel layer games, also you have to patch your games to actully go online

i agree with above. If you like online gaming then you
would have to get swap magic and a flip top.
But the chip just is much easier and has more features.
or you could just get the chip, swap magic and fliptop
then you have it all. When not going online the chip
is for sure the best way to go.
