RMVB extension files.

I notice these days there are many downloads which are RMVB extensions files.
What does this stand for? Are they good quality?
What program do I use to make RMVB extension files to make DVD+R video on my DVD burner? What program do I use to play on my p.c.?

They are Real Media files.

To play on your computer, download either Real Player or Media Player Classic.

To convert to DVD, use WinAVI.
