I live in Canada am just wondering which of these services is better (netflix.com or zip.ca) I am leaning towards zip.ca only because of the amount of dvd's you can have out at one time. Does anyone know of any problems with these services good or bad?

Sorry if posted in the wrong forum.

Thanks in advance for any feedback or suggestions for others services I trust everyones knowledge on this site thanks again.

I live in the USA and have netflix myself. and have had blockbuster. Cancled my blockbuster cause turnaround was to slow.

Netflix is $20 a month and I uasly average 24 movies a month or higher. But that also depends on how close a distributing hub is for netflix. I have 1 close to me so I can recieve DVDs on 1 day and send them out the same day after watching them and they recive them the next day and send out new ones. so every other day I have movies coming in. Except on weekends of course and holidays and depending on if they have the movies in to ship.

So my sugesten is to find out where the distributing hubs are for both netflix.com or zip.ca and choose the 1 closest for better turn around.

But of course im in the USA and you could have totel diffrent experinces in canada.

I use Netflix as well. I like it a lot. They have a very large selection of movies. $17.99 a month for unlimited rentals is a great deal. Especially since new releases are around four dollars each if you rent them from a video store.

I use zip.ca, and I am very pleased with it. I have been using it for a few months, and I haven't had any problems with it whatsoever. I live in Saint John, and the movies take about 2 days to arrive after the shipment date.
Hope this helps

PS: I don't think you can get netflix in Canada, or Zip.ca in USA.
