Problem with Capcom Classics Collection

I have back upped this game but it will not work on my chip modded PS2. I can succesfully start the game, but when I choose what game I want to play it goes to the red screen in which the PS2 says there's no valid disc in the drive. I have had this same problem with a Splinter Cell game way back. Is there a problem with my burning, the disc I used or is my chip incapable of handling this kind of game (by this kind I mean a sort of second check, after the initial start up of a game (does this make any sense to you?)).
Chip is unknown, probably a Magic 3 or something. I've had my PS2 for over 3 years now.

It could be the media you use, or maybe the game needs to be rebuilt...

Well, I burnt it again at 1x, using another burning prog, but it does exactly the same.
Would it be best to just rip out the old modchip (either an old Magic or Neo) and put in a new one (Matrix Infinity). I can have that done for ? 50,-, which seems fair to me.
I have "back upped" over 200 games so far, all of which are playable on my PS2, with the exception of Splinter Cell and now Capcom Classics (which I desperately want to play!!). I have never had to rebuild an ISO, so I do not know what exactly that involves doing.

There are several threads on how to rebuild ps2 games, try using the forum's search on that.
And by the way, with media, i meant the brand of DVD's you use.
Going totally off topic here, but, are you perhaps dutch or belgian?

Indeed I am, Dutch that is.
I have always used Platinum DVD+'s and they never failed me so far. I know they aren't the best possible out there, but they do the trick.
I will get into the info on rebuilding ISO's, thnx for that.

Well, at least you're not using Memorex DVD+R :)
Platinum isn't that bad, i use their cd's all of the time, but i prefer Verbatim DVD-R and +R for my dvd backups

Can anyone indicate whether or not they are able to play a back up version of Capcom Classic Collection, and give information on what chip or method the are using to get it started?
Verbatim's are too expensive for my taste ;). I get my Platinums @ 32 eurocents a piece and only play games for a short while before I get bored with them and try another game. It is not very important for me to be able to play a game 5 years from now, when my Platinums will very likely have become unreadable, whereas Verbatims will still be able to play their content.

Hi mate. I think you need to use Zoneloader to boot these compilation type games. But I'm not sure if it works with chipped PS2s or only Swapmagic.
Bootup PS2 with Zoneloader
Swap with Capcom Classics
I had exactly the same problem with Midway Arcade Treasures 3 and this sorted it out, although I use Swapmagic.

Cheap Ridata -r's at 4x (fastest my dvd burner goes) with a DMS3 works for me with Capcom Legends, as well as the Midway Treasures Collections...If you have a friend with a modded system, let him try your backups, might help you narrow it down. Definitely isn't a '2nd' check.
