Hi I am an aussie & purchased 100 Ritek discs from an E/Bay supplier[silly me] discs were advertised as A Grade G05 Ritek 8x printable.I did a disc info scan on my Nero & they read as RitekG05 & made by Ritek Same results with decrypter. Discs were the same apperance as my Fujifilm03 8xRiteks except the clear center hub does not have to white Ritek branding as the 03's The code in the center hub is Ti-08l23409157080C11 Discs are burning & play in my standalone player but will not copy in shrink & when scaned with nero has most of bottom line is red. I reduced Burn size to 4300mb still no go I have since tried a smaller movie & it only had one little yellow square not good enough for Ritek most likley they 2nd grade if Ritek at all Many Thanks

methinks you won't be buying blank media from eBay again!, eBay is great, however stuff such as blank media is one of those things that gives eBay a bad name.. anyway, i don't know enough about Ritek discs however Gurnard, kivory666 and a few others will no doubt pop by and give you the help you need re verifying their authenticity (i'm presuming the hub codes as as straightforward to verify, such as the way Taiyo Yuden's are verified). i have just used up my first 50 authentic G05 Printables, so can post the hub codes when i get home later

Hi Creaky Methinks you are right turns out this guy bought 600 of these & probably had the same problem so offloaded them to this sucker.

And Thanks to you Gurnard. I thought your answer was a "not too sure"
And thought I might have put in the wrong section. I tried these with Shrink/DVDdecrypter & results were worse in Nero disc scan top line & bottom lines full of red squares.I have since burnt I heart huckabees movie file only [3600mb]& it was fine.I am very new to the forum & still finding wy way.

no worries. like my good buddy gurnard says, it honestly does get confusing when someone multiposts. no-one has a problem with the accidental ones, we just politely advise the poster and request a moderator closed the duplicates; it's the persistent multiposters that are the pain. hi and welcome if i didn't say that already :)

Thanks Creaky I will be more carefull next time.One last thing on these discs I emailed Ritek with all the details & they would neither confirm or deny if they were a Ritek product,I think they were covering their arsses.

Hey Creaky
Seems the G05's are not real good in a LG Burner as per video help site. This site gives plenty of help with compatablity problems I recon I will be going back to Verbs in future as these always worked fine.
