After few minutes in my drive my cd are hot when I get them out. I mean that they have a high temperature, is this normal, oes this damage the disc, what will happn when I record using that drive and what should I do about it, what is the cause?

the cause is from your PC heating up from either extensive usage or no ventilation. try adding a fan, or grabbing a can of air and blast the dust bunnies out of the heat coils, that might help.

Nothing will happen when you record the disc besides burn, hehe
