They're very quick, I guess the delay is paypal-related

Turned out it was only 2 out of the 10, but that's 2 too many. I don't do coasters!. Reburnt and checked on new burner, all ok so far. New firmware won't 'take' but will figure it out one of the nights. It is a pretty new burner anyway, apart from the lowest speed it allows burning on the new Verb TY's is 6x, I prefer 4x by far, but for now I could just CRC check each 6x I have to do until the new firmware or future firmware caters for 4x

Hi gurnard, that sounds like the -r verb ty's at 6x. My firmware is ks09 and I've d/loaded latest which is ks0a but the bugger won't install. Am sure I will figure it out one of the days.

hmmm...well, i know when i first started updating firmwares for all my various liteon drives, that AFTER the unzip, IF i closed the window that was previous UNZIPPED from, and clicked on the .exe file, the firmware would NOT update correctly~ :)

perhaps keeping the window/file from which the original zipped file is located OPEN might help? i dunno, this is the only problem i have ever encountered with the liteon firmwares~ :P

i am in NO way questioning your ability to update firmware, i was just so frustrated when i couldn't get it to work when i first did it with a Liteon drive~

THAT was MY problem...it's obvious, but, i managed to overlook it~ LOL
