hi guys..k i jus downloaded gta san andreas as a torrent..i have the winrar program and extracted the 001 rar file. i then used alcohal 120 to burn it...i tried it on my ps2 which has a mod chip..everything works fine but the problem is that the screen is sliding and u cant see wats going on...the screen duznt keep still but everything is working..is there a reason for this..

Sounds like you downloaded the wrong region of game for your PS2. You either have a PAL PS2 trying to play a NTSC region game, or the opposite. There is some ways to covert them but i find they dont work all too well, you can also try to load it with swap magic choosing w.e video mode your tv is.

what kind of chip is it, and do even say
"i don't know" because you should
some chips have a force mode that will force
all games to load in you regions screen mode

swap magic 3.0 or above has screen mode settings
you can load swap magic, pick the correct region for
the GAME you burned, and load the back up
it will cut off a small portion at the bottom but should
load up. If the screen still flips then your TV just does not
support both regions.

Try burning at 8x or so on good media. Taiyo Yuden, Verbatim, Ritek all work well. To use Swap Magic you need a flip top http://www.chipzone.com/installation/playstation2/fliptop/page1.cfm or slide card http://www.saveware.com/SlideCardUsageAndInstall.htm

like above, you will need Swap Magic and a flip top
or slidecard on the older model PS2

and Swap Magic and a flip top
or slimtool or magic switch or ghost switch on the slim

put in Swap Magic
when the load screen comes up swap for your backup.
and when i say swap you would open the flip top
or use your slidecard to put in the back up game
without resetting the PS2 (aka opening it by eject button)
