i heard about something the get the dnas code from original cd is that what i need. Also what setting should i use and how do i change them i don't know what chip type i have yes noooob at this stuff.

it could be many things.
your PS2 doesn't like the media
the game needs to be rebuilt/patched
You don't have a chip
you didn't burn the game the right way

what game is it? Is it CD or DVD based?
What media did you use, what speed and brand?
what speed did you burn it at?
patching the DNAS is for online play.
