Hello. This is my first attempt to burn a DVD. I first used Shrink to copy the files to my hard drive. I then burned thhe information to a DVD using Sonic (I think this is my problem). Anyways when I put the DVD in my standalone DVD player it comes up with a list of the files and doesnt play the DVD like it should. I can select the files and it will play them individually. Could it be that Sonic copied the files in a data format?

I think I may have found my problem. Sonic only cpied the files in a data format. I am going to get Nero and try that

Welcome to aD!
It does sound like you copied it in data format. When you ripped w/ shrink it should have created a video_ts folder. This is the folder you'll need to open & copy w/ Sonic. Which Sonic do you have?

I only have the RecordNow. I wasnt thinking and the files were copied in a data format. Thanks for replying. This forum may open a whole new world for me

Doesn't look like recordnow has many options for dvd burning. Nero is imo the way to go. I use it all the time. Post back w/ any more probs or questions.
