I really don't see what all the fuss is about. It is just a label that is based on how many posts you make in the forums. The last thing it is based on is one's knowledge of digital entertainment formats and so on. I mean, any idiot can rack up posts and get a title, all while taking up forum space with stupidity and such. Oh well, to each his/her own. Congrats. Live long and prosper.

I have a small problame with that "sharing what they know"-part.
I have much more to share with you but I can`t say it in english.
So in sometimes I can only learn stuff here and give it to Finnish forum.

To me status does have a little importance but not much. You wouldnt be suprised to see a newbie spam the hell out of the forums but if a Senior Member or an Addict did it you wouldnt think that was normal.
But knowledge wise it doesn't matter. A newbie might know just as much or even more than an Addict or Senior Member. One site I occasionally browse through has like 15 different member status titles. It's insane.
I like Afterdawns system. Although maybe there should be a special title for users who have been a member for more than 2 - 3 years or if you make over 20,000 posts or something.
