I've been converting my AVI files and my divx files to dvd to get my VIDEO_TS files so i can burn them to dvd. once i get the files however, the movies are broken into about 3 to 4 seperate files. also, the sound has dissapeared. How do I take these files and put the sound back in them !? also, if the VIDEO_TS file is too large to burn, can i still use a program like DVD Shrink on them ?

why. what do you recommend ?

ive got Nero and ive got iburndvds2 but i can't seem to figure those out. i always come across some error.

Do you have sound after the conversion (but before the final burning)? If not, try use another converter (e.g. VSO) to compare the results:

with WinAVIVideoConverter i get no sound at all. just movie files and in the audio file, theres nothing. its empty.


also,i have tried VSO DivXtoDVD before and i got the trial version which i do not choose to use because it puts big words written over the movie and not to mention it was very poor quality.

i will try to just get a real version of it and see how that works.

It's normal for the Audio_TS folder to be empty. That has nothing to do with the audio problem. But follow my link to get the freeware version of VSO to see how it goes.

The Readon you are Not getting any audio is probably because the Audio in your AVI file is VBR MP3 which will cause you too loose the audio when converting or will cause the audio to go badly out of Sync...

To Solve this problem you simply need to decompress the audio in your AVI file before you encode it to DVD Format...If you PM Me with your e-mail address I can send you a Tool for Decompressing the audio in your AVI files....

Use Virtual Dub and do the following. Insert the .AVI then go up to audio and select "full process mode" and under video select "direct stream copy" and then save the new AVI.

i still need a little help.

i have made my video into DVD format with WinAvi and it gave me the video and audio this time.

so when im using Nero to burn the movie, can i just throw in both folders ?

Just open up your video_ts folder and throw all the .bup, .ifo, .VOB etc. into Nero and burn at 4x.

You don"t even need to Open the Folder you can simply Drag the Whole "Video_TS" folder into "Nero Burning Rom" and Burn in "DVD video" mode....
