just a quick question. i am currently downloading a couple of games. they are not estimated to finish downloading for another 16 hours. if i pause/stop the download and resume it later on in the day, would likely cause the file to become corrupt. or will the download just resume form where it left off.

Ok then. Just click stop. And then start again when you want to resume. It works perfectly fine and won't affect your download.
