hi all, I have just connected my PS2 to the net with broadband connection. The only online game I have so far is THPS4 and I am having a problem hosting online games. I can join games hosted by other servers and play fine. But if i try to host a game it will start the game then about 30 seconds later i will get the message:
"Error: Your game was not posted on gamespy, check your network cables and any firewall settings you may have." My network cables are fine but im not sure about any firewall settings. I have an ethernet cable going straight from my modem to my PS2 and my computer is connected to the same modem via USB. any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Look for lan or network settings, and under host hit yes

I don't know I don't own the game I just said that as an observation. But my guess would be under options :D

You need to open a few ports in your firewall to be able to host games, either check the manual of the game or just check the activision site for info on what ports need to be opened.
