Hey i am just asking about a problem i had burning a game.
I have a borrowed copy of the Codemasters Ricky ponting cricket 2005 and i rip it with Dvd decrypter and burn it but it freezes at load screens. Can someone please tell me how to copy this game properly. it would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Ha your lucky I tried to burn that game and couldnt even get past the lead in. What program did you use to burn it, and which of the 2 files did you burn.

well i tried with both DVD Decrypter and Alcohol 120%. With decrypter i dectypted it and then burned the iso image using the same program and it worked but it froze like a few overs into the match. Then sometimes the game wouldnt even load and classic matches are completely screwed. Same result with Alcohol 120%. I know its one of those games where you have to patch or rebuild i think, so im looking into that.

When I burned Ricky Ponting International Cricket I had no dramas. All I done was use nero and clicked on "copy entrie disc" and it worked fine. Try that if you have 2 DVD drives.

hey people who have trouble burning these sorta games. The 1 thing i figured out with all new games like this game and fifa 2006 is that u can copy them exactly the same way as other games. Just you have to use good disks. I had like some crappy disks which only had 4x reading speed but new games have better graphics and require 8x. So i got better ones and this game worked perfectly. Also the brian lara cricket copy from www.torrentspy.com works well and no patch is needed so downlaod it. Use good disks is basically the point. ALso if u have a old version ps2 use DVD-R not DVD+R because its better for it.

oh ok, well because some old version ps2's dont pick up the graphics and the game sorta lags on DVD+R. But it aint writen in stone , u can still try on + r's. If you got ur ps2 like 3 years ago then it should be fine with DVD+R. Just try wit DVD+R and see how it goes.
