i recently download Sahara which came in 4 different vob files, 2 cds. I merged all the vob files with VOBmerge and then created ifo and bup files with ifoedit. However, when i tried to open it with dvd shrink, it says it has encountered and error and can't continue. There is an invalid file in the vob file. I've tried nero 6 express but it cant handle a vob more than 2 GBs and i dont want to split my vob. Anybody have any suggestions?

Was it larger than 4.7 GB? WHy put it into Shrink, if you downloaded a DVD-R all you should have had to do was burn...

why dont you want to split the file up??

just leave the vob files in 1gig chunks. they come that way cuz a dvd player cant read files larger than 1g


ADDED - Good point dvdback, 4 vob should fit perfectly on a dvd-r

Im sire you have done this but let me do a re-take at this, open shrink and select file-->open and find the file that you put these vobs in and select ok...from there you should be ok.

thanks alot for the advice guys. I ended up using DVD Shrink in re-author mode and but the 2 cds together. I think my problem occured when I merged the VOB files together. thx again guys
