hi

i recently dloaded "ImTOO DVD Ripper" and tried to rip sin city to my PC (because i want to all my dvds on my pc) so i ripped it with the above program "took near 10hours at 1024/768 ripped it as avi divx. the rip worked fine only probs was that the programme split the film into 4 files and the size of the picture on screen was streched

can anyone tell me what programme i need to use to rip the film as 1 file from my dvd to my pc keeping the same quality as the dvd.

After you've loaded the movie onto Imtoo, click 'volume size' and choose 'custom size'. Then click 'settings' to set the volume size of the output.

Alternatively, you may use video joiners (e.g. Power Video Converter, Advanced X Video Converter) to join the outputs.

Also why are you Converting a Standard DVD to 1024x768 ??? This will Greatly reduce the Quality because you are Up-sizeing the Resolution by a Huge ammount...Standard DVD Resolution is 720x480.....

If you want your DVD"s on your PC in there Original Format without any quality loss you can simply Rip the DVD to your Hard Drive with DVD Decryptor or SmartRipper and it will only take about 15 minutes per movie and if you set the "File Splitting" options to "None" it will Rip the Movie as a single Big file.......
