I just installed a Matrix Infinity in my V5 PS2. No bridges or anything.

But when I turn it on from standby mode it comes on for a few seconds and then shuts off.

Anyone know what is wrong?

cheack the wiring maybe one of the wires might not be soldered that well, also check the guide to see if you did it right

also check your BGHI soldering point they could be loose and it will not read your back up games.

I would probably say one of the fuses have blown, happen to a friend on installation of the matrix infinity chip. This link has fuse locations check them with a multimeter, if any of them have blown, you will have to replace them.

Also check for shortages using a magnifying glass, tiny balls of soldier could have dropped while you were modding it and bridged something.
>>Check for shorts
>>Check the ribbon cable that goes to the eject buttom(unlikely the problem, but you may have screwed into it when closing the console)
