Ive read numerous times what discs are good or not. At my Walmart the best they have is maxell. I use dvd decryptor and it comes up under DVD manufacter ID it says RitekG05. I know those are pretty good discs acording to most people. So are the maxells just relabeled Riteks or what?

@SpadeX
Buying in store look for made in Japan Sony or Fuji - this usually are made by Taiyo Yuden - great media. Verbatim DataLifePlus is another great media. These are usually made in Taiwan but are manufactured by MCC another great one.
You can tell the media is crappy when you have playback problems or burn failures. There are quite a few bad manufacturers out. I stick w/ Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim though Maxell does uses some good manufacturers.
