I got Call of Duty from a torrent and I used deamon to install the 2 ISO files (both disks of the game). It installed fine but when I go to play Single Player I get an error message saying " Cannot locate the CD-ROM, Please insert the correct CD-ROM" I burned the first ISO file (Play Disk) onto a CD-R using Satiera CD&DVD Burner and it loads the menu screen but when I try to play single player I still get the same error message. Is there something else I can do to get this to work. Thanks guys

read the .nfo file or re-mount cd1 and browse or explore for a certain folder (you'll know it when you see it)

Im sorry but I dont know what or where the .nfo file is and I dont know what folder I should be looking for. Can you elaborate on what I should do. Thanks for the help so far

ok, ever torrent comes witha .nfo file witch looks like a computer////right click on your mouse and select notepad and it will give instructions.,
I cand help no further...also re-read my posts

I guess the file you must be talking about is the one which allows you to download the torrent, well when I open it with notepad all I get is a bunch of goofy symbols. So I guess I cant get it to work...Thanks anyway

there is actual words with the goofy symbols, keep scrolling and it will give you all the info you need.

Come on, if he would have done what I said then he would of found the folder I was refering to.
If this is the goofy symbols and no text then I don't know what it is

2. Burn or mount with daemon tools.

4. Use the keygen in /Crack dir on CD1 to generate your own key

The only words I found in the file when I opened it with notepad had nothing to do as far as directions just the file name basically. I tried following your directions but its a little tough when this is my first time trying to do this. Also you havent been that detailed in how I should be doing this just been giving very vauge directions. And I had a crack from the start. Thanks anyway even though it got me nowhere

Hey everyone. I'm having truoble with Call of Duty. I was loading a custom map and then sudenly it said - recursive error alter Can't use keys with a key "stdm"

Now whenever i try to load Call of Duty it just says that. Can anyone give me some tips? thanks.

try uninstalling then reinstalling.....or you can copy the files from the original into Call of Dutys directory.
