I Used to use RITEK G04 from SVP for Pioneer 106 (Medion rebadge).
Found them very consistent and very reliable.
I am looking to buy some more now, but it seems G04s are no longer stocked.
Which ones do you guys recommend?
Can you post a link to the actual product, as there are so many on SVP.
Im in the UK.
Thanks

Definatly go with taiyo yuden, Ive found the dvd+r's of taiyo yudan are even faster responding in menus of the dvd then my originals! Ive heard Riteks arent as good as they used to be, I used to buy them all the time.

notcied these
{DV 3201} Ridisc Xtreme (Ritek G05 dye) (8x) DVD-R in Spindle Tubs of 50
look reasonable. will they be ok on my Pioneer x4 speed dvd burner?
Im pretty sure the last batch i used were G05s before, but they were plain white printable ones.
Any coupon codes to use with SVP?

@ freeeky2 hi :)
svp seems to have withdrawn the GO4s since i gave you the product no
yes G05 will do you fine, but i would go for the ones below
use the same link as above
look for DV3206 full face pks of 50 rather than the extreme
hope this helps :)

aha! they are the ones im after, thank you very much!
I think im gonna buy a spindle of cdrs too.
any of you guys had these:
http://www.blankdiscshop.co.uk/acatalog/80mincdr.html
{CD 1040} Kaleidoscope Overprint (48x) 80 Minute CD-R in Packs of 100
{CD 1058} Memorex Branded (52x) 80 Minute CDR in Packs of 100
Looking for just some decent cheapish ones that are reliable to not get coasters.
Would have thought most CDRs now are safe for that. Your view on these cdrs?

i think if you buy either of those you'll be back here with tales of woe. i'd go for these -
Quote: {CD 1050} Verbatim Datalife Plus (52x) 80 Minute CDR in Spindle Tubs of 50
SVP Price: £7.99 / Euro 11.63 inc VAT.
Equivalent Retail Price Per Disc: 16.0p
Quote: {CD 1085} Verbatim Pastel (48x) 80 Minute CDR (Using the excellent Taiyo Yuden dye) in Spindle Tubs of 50
SVP Price: £7.99 / Euro 11.63 inc VAT.
Equivalent Retail Price Per Disc: 16.0p
or maybe the Ridisc/Ritek etc, but not those nasty cheapy ones you picked out :)
I would normally agree that most CD's are ok, but lately i've been seeing far too many logfiles/tales of woe down to bad CD media

i make up disco packs of 20 disc's at a time
have done literally thousands of disc's with no coasters at all,
can't say how much is a good price either, i've still got about 500 blanks left to go
@ creaky hi :)
