I know how to run the ps2 games through the decryptor and to write them through the ISO. Why don't they play in my ps2, do I have to have a mod chip to play them, if so how come I can play dvd+r's as movies but not as games.
dvd-r movies always play if they are burnt exactly like the original. but ps2 games have sectors a burner cant burnt, therefore the ps2 doesnt know its a ps2 game and refuses to play it. The only option to play backups is a modchip or swapmagic cds
lol i dont think a company that sells ORIGINALS sell somthing that lets you play backups. The only way is to buy it online. I got mine from www.modchip.ca but if your in america you can try modchip.com. There are many other websites that sell swap magic cds, maybe even cheaper, but remember to get the right one.
Your PS2 console can't play any burned PS2 games easily. You'll need some sort of aftermarket modifications such as Swap Magic with Flip Top, Slide Card, Magic Switch or Mod Chip in order to play backup (burned) games correctly.

you could just buy swap magic without the slide card. And then make your very own slide card, im sure theres a guide somewhere on this site. Search the fourms.
