Car.Mike,
I solved my problem with 152hr. encoding times. After opening windows task manager I saw my CPU was working at 100% even when the computer was sitting idle. Now I don't know enough about computers to understand why this was happening but I knew it didn't seem right. I tried to close everything with a program called Enditall but it doesn't work on XP, so I searched the web and found a program called Smartclose. I closed all background activity, CPU usage went down to 1-7% and Shrink is working fine now. I just burned Robots and it took 29 min.!!!!!!!Thought you might like to know about this program and how it helped( though you may already know). The program is free http://www.snapfiles.com/get/smartclose.html It would be nice to keep all the background off all the time, I'm sure it will help the performance of all programs. Anyway,I hope this helps someone, and thanks again for all your help.
