hello, thanks in advance for any help. my problem is simple i guess, i just purchased a stand alone dvd player that is divx certified. i have lots of divx movies, but as i try to burn them to dvd, all the programs i have tried expand the file from like 700megs to almost 4gig. i am just looking for a program that will allow me to burn the divx files AS divx files to a dvd. thanks, bobby

If your just wanting to play them on your DVD player as files and dont want a menu etc then burn the DivX files on the DVD or CD as data files. When you put in the DVD data file into your Home Player it will give you a selection menu to play what ever file you wanna play.

If it is a movie you downloaded and it has 2 parts I would sugest when you add them into the data file to add the first part of the movie in first then the second part. Then add the rest onto it till the disc gaets filed up.

The reason to do that is cause the files will play 1 right after the other without stoping. so your movie wont stop right in the middle of it and make you choose to load the secind half of the movie.

Also make sure you fill up the disc. Once you make that first burn you cant go back and add more files. It will burn more files but wont show up on the menu screen. So multi-sesion dosent work for this.

Anyway that is how I do my DivX clips and it works perfect.
