Verbatim is pretty darn good. In fact it's my favorite. You may want to add the 100 DVD spindle to the available verbatim stock.

1) MCC-002. Good media,but not MCC-003 good!They look purty!Nice cases.
2) I booktype so I don't use the dash format but they should rock!Paying too much for the extra cases.
3) Again, these should rock!No need for me to go 16x!
4) MCC-003: Some of the best verbs that I have used!

agreed upon there~
8x/16x DVD+R MCC003/MCC004, both VERY HIGH QUALITY Verbatims...i use these a LOT, flawless backups~ :)
i've only used 100 of the 8x DVD-R, i prefer the TYs in the DVD-R format, but still good nevertheless~ :)
as saugmon stated, price is a little too high in the jewel cases~ it's good media, but for 1 piece @ over $2.00 just for the jewel case? NOT WORTH IT~ :)
Recommended Media:

Verbatim dvd+r DL (MKM001)= flawless no compression backups

It's looking like I can just generalize and say that all Verbatims are good. And I really want to, because then I can say this sentence to customers, "just get Verbatim". We are up to our eyeballs in Nexxtech, Fujifilm made in Taiwan, Memorex, and one that there's no results when searched for here, RetailPlus.

Not all verbatims are good. Here's a list of some of their media along with MID codes:
Verbatim DataLife DVD+R 2.4x (CMC MAG.R01)
Verbatim DataLife DVD+R 4x (RICOHJPNR01)
Verbatim DataLife DVD-R 2x (CMC MAG. AF1)
Verbatim DataLife DVD-R 2x (CMC MAG.AF01)
Verbatim DataLifePlus DVD+R 12x (MCC.....003)
Verbatim DataLifePlus DVD+R 4x (MCC.....002)
Verbatim DataLifePlus DVD+R 4x Pastel (YUDEN000-T01-000)
Verbatim DataLifePlus DVD+R 8x (MCC.....003)
Verbatim DataLifePlus DVD+R 8x Advanced AZO (MCC.....003)
Verbatim DataLifePlus DVD+R 8x Printable (MCC 003)
Verbatim DataLifePlus DVD+RW 2.4x (MCC.....A01)
Verbatim DataLifePlus DVD-R 4x (MCC 01RG20)
Verbatim DataLifePlus DVD-R 4x (TYG01.......)
Verbatim DataLifePlus DVD-R 8x Advanced AZO (MCC02RG20)
Verbatim DataLifePlus DVD-RW 1x (MCC 00RW11N9)
Verbatim DataLifePlus DVD-RW 2x (MCC 01RW11n9)
Verbatim DataLifePlus SERL DVD+RW 4x (MKM A02)
Verbatim DigitalMovie DVD-R 4x (MCC 01RG20)
Verbatim DVD+R 2.4x (MCC 001)
Verbatim DVD+R 4x (MCC 002)
Verbatim DVD+R 4x Digital Movie (MCC 002)
Verbatim DVD+RW 4x (MKM A02)
Verbatim DVD-R (CMC MAG.)
Verbatim DVD-R 2x (MCC00RG20)
Verbatim DVD-R 4x (MCC01RG20)
Verbatim DVD-R 8x Photo Printable (MCC 02RG20)
Verbatim DVD-R Scratch-Resistent (CMC MAG.)
Verbatim DVD-RW 2x (MCC 01RW11n9)
Verbatim DVD-RW 2x (MCC01RW11)
Verbatim DVD-RW 4x (MCC 01RW4X)
You'll notic CMC MAG. in some of those MID codes, that is one manufacture to be cautious of. That's why the verbatims that say Data Life plus are some of the best stuff out there. They also have data life and digital movie quality. They may even have some saying media life.
It it isn't the digital movie quality or data life plus, then I stay away from them!

nothing really, i have just PERSONALLY found that the 8x DVD+R (MCC003) and the 16x DVD+R (MCC004) work the BEST FOR ME~ :) i naturally booktype BOTH these to dvd-rom, but, i guess i am biased as i have used MANY MANY of BOTH these, while very little on the MCC002 4x~ :)
there really shouldn't be much of a difference, quality wise, i just prefer the "newer" MCCs only because they are more readily available, but, to answer your question directly...same quality, just slower rated speed for the MCC002 (4x) compared to the MCC003 (8x)...the same is true for the MCC004 (16x)
as a seller, competitive pricing is KEY for these Verbatims...can't say much for the other brands you stated...but, i can pretty much make a blanket statement that the quality on those aren't even CLOSE to that of the MCC produced Verbatims...if you can sell those other ones, go for it..nothing is stopping you, but, they are DEFINITELY NOT considered good quality media...and for those that KNOW about media, myself included, will NEVER buy those at ANY price...it's not worth the headache/wasted $$...hope that helps you out a bit~ :)

The MCC-003 are awesome. I first started using verbatim data life +4x,buying 3 identical 30 pack spindles. 2 of those spindles were MCC-002 and the other spindle was Ricohjpn-r01. I had a harder time burning those +4x verbs, now with the +8x verbs,no issues whatsoever! Even on my stand alone tv recorder which is +4x only media rated, those 8x perform the best.
Overall, all the 8x media that I have used have been excellent: Maxell-002-00/Yuden000-T02/Ricohjpn/Ritek-r03/MCC-003/SonyD11/Sony08D1/even cmags! The 4x media used to give me a little trouble.
I haven't tried the MCC-004, I can get 12x out of these +8x verbs if I desire.I still keep the burn at 4x just to prevent the possibility of little errors.

@Nastajus,
I prefer the 8X DVD+R (MCC003) better. However, all of the new Verbatim media are top notch, so you don't need to worry.
