I am downloading a movie file that says at the end...Xvid AC3 rar..rar. Can this be viewed on the computer and also can this file be burned to a DVD with the DVD Santa program. Thanks for any help I am new, very new. and have trouble finding info and then understanding it.

Hi there,

.RAR is an archive like .ZIP

You will need WinRAR to extract the files.

Afterthat, depending if it's a .AVI or an DVD Image (.bin/.cue) then we can point you in the right direction.

If it's .AVI, DVDSanta, VSO DivXtoDVD and all other converts can convert it to DVD, then burn...

This file above that I was downloading is lost, I think, I was under the assumptiom you could resume later, but I shut my computer down and now the file is gone to continue. Is this because it started automatically cause it was a rar file and not ending with .torrent.
