I saw in some thread that it doesn't need rebuilding, but i did a 1:1 backup and it won't load with sm 3.6,the game is 4,6 gb in size so that may be the problem,it's the PAL version btw. when i try to boot you hear the backup skipping and after a while the screen says, not a valid ps2 disc. What could be the problem?

Most DVD games are encrypted so that a 1:1 backup is impossible. You need to download DVD Decrypter and go to MODE-->ISO-->READ to create a backup. Then go to MODE-->ISO-->WRITE to burn it.

It looks like you started a thread about this before. The moderators have been informed and your account has been frozen. No seriously I'm not sure if this game needs rebuilt. Is your PS2 PAL or NTSC? I found these general hints posted by Steimy: what version PS2 do you have?
If the professional back up works, and original discs
work then it would most likely not be a lsaer problem.
Could just be a media problem or a problem with the way you
burned them.
Some helpful tips when burning:
1. try burning 8X discs at 4X
2. if you are using +R try some -R instead
3. make sure there are no programs running in the backround
when you burn a discs, things like antivirus software or anything
in your PC's system tray. Also do not use the computer when burning.
Burning takes a great deal of your working memory to do it's
thing so give it all you got.
4. try updating your burners firmware if there is a newer
version available for it.
5. if you have a slim PSTwo and a house without AC or
do not run AC to keep the house pretty cool then stick a small house
fan in front of your PSTwo and give it good air
circulation. Stand the PSTwo on end (verticle) also so that it
has less area touching another surface to heat up and stay hot.
6. if you know someone else who plays back ups on their PS2
then have them try out the discs, if they work then the burning
process is fine and it could be your system
7. always put your PS2 in standby mode before switching games
or press reset, then eject the game, then put in standby, then eject and put in the new one.

Yeah that's just the average speed it burns at. If you set it at 1x it might burn at 2.4x or something like that. Try lower speeds if your burner supports it. 1x then 2x, then move up to 4x if that doesn't work. Use whichever program you feel comfortable with, they're both good programs.
