Signs has a few THX items on it that I need onto a new disk. In DVD Shrink reauthor mode, it appears to be chapters 25-30, and in full disc mode, these chapters all appear in the extras folder. In my current situation, I dont want any of the movie, just the THX chapters 25-30, with their same functionality as on the main movie. Can i do this in shrink? or do i use another program? I have used dvd decrypter to extract the DVD to my pc already, and i just used shrink to make a new dvd with only these chapters, but these chapters all play one right after the other, and dont pause and hold automatically as they do on the Signs dvd. I need the THX stuff to pause automatically so i can adjust the convergence of my big screen

Just use the Start and End Frames function in Shrink to capture the clip you want. Here is a guide.

When you re-author in Shrink, you lose all the menu functionality. If you want to keep the menus, you'll just have to compress the movie parts as much as you can and leave the THX test items in extras uncompressed. Otherwise, you can get CloneDVD 3 which will allow you to remove the movie entirely and keep the menus.

It can also be done with dvdremake. One of the best apps I've ever purchased.
