Ok Now I know that parents get on there kids nerves (my step-mom, and dad) and I was wandering what is the most annoying thing that they say to you. My Mom always tells me that she told me to do something and I really swear that she doesn't. My dad aint ever home enough to yell at me he is a Truck Driver, but when he does, he really does.

when I was a wee little lad my dad used to always say "wisemen learn from their own mistakes, fools learn from their own." I guess in a way everyone's a fool, just depends on how big of a fool.

Well the one I hated was my Dads, whenever I got busted for something and was recieving the usual lecture, I always tried to be a smartarse about.

Never disrespectful, or never intentionally anyway, but always tried to lip my way out of it.....
Me : "You did it Dad when you were my age" << Smug face....
Dad : "Do as I say, Not as I do" <<< Smugger face....

As I got older and we had chats about it, I told him how hypocritical it seemed, but as he said to me, it worked!!!!

When i was younger my mom was pretty cool, (still is) she would give me more freedom than most would, and insted of giving me shit she would let me learn from my own mistakes. (mostly, when i got kicked out of school she was pretty pissed :)

Im only 19 now but looking back im starting to think tha she was a little too lenient.

Yeah I always get in trouble for doing the same thing I already got yelled at for. So in my house I'm the trouble maker, and the one with the low grades. Heck my step mom is always telling me she is going to send me back to my real mom in Texas and sometimes I wish that she would.

P.S. My real mom is a Lesbian that loves to drink.

some of the things i get in trouble for my mum did as a kid or teenager.all i have to do is give her enough drinks and she will tell us about them.so really she tells me off for stuff she did at my age.normally since i turned 21 when she tells me off or has a go at me i just smile at her and say im 21 now im not a little kid and she will usually back off abit.

well i'll tell you from personal experience, they REALLY mean that "no running with the scissors" bit. i did and ended up with 17 stitches on my inner thigh, waaaay to close to the family jewels. oh and for all you single parent kids out there, when your mom/dad says "i'm trying to be both a mother and a father to you", "cool then go f*ck yourself!" is NOT a good response!!

i didnt know that 'running with scissors' was that dangerous.i guess the 'running with scissors ward' in the hospital is located next to the 'swimming straight after eating' ward.
