hi recently i got a new ps2 slim laser so i could replace my old one, after i replaced it for the new one, it still not running, this time the laser does not start up and the cd/dvd does not turn. i dont know what else to do. i was wondering if i had the wrong laser because the number on the laser unit says this:

old one:
c3 pvr 802w

new one
s3 pvr 802w

im all out of options here and i was wondering if this is techniall error made by me or if this is the wrong laser or im missing something..or should i give up?
