i am having a problem burning some dvds. i am using dvd shrink and dvd decrypter and at times will receive an error when copying some of the newer dvds.

also a second problem i am receiving is that when i play the movie, the movie will keep stopping thru out the movie.
the discs i am using are rdata i believe and my dvd player is regent.

could you help me rip a dvd with out receiving an error and also help me with the playing quality?

Some of the newer dvd's shrink and decrypter can't handle. What error and what are the movies? Another free ripper that has been updated to try is dvd fab decrypter. Here's a link:

Any good program that runs in the background is AnyDVD which is also updated to handle the newer movies. It has a 21 free trial period.

Ridata are good not the best imo. What is your burn speed? Make sure you are not burning at max. I burn at 8x on a 16x drive and 4x on a 8x drive. Make sure the firmware to your drive is up to date also. I would recommend using Taiyo Yuden or Verbatim DataLifePlus media.
