Does spartan total warrior require any special procedure to backup???? Because when i try to burn it at 2x using DVD decrypter, i get a message saying "failure to lock DVD sector" or something to that effect, and it keeps burning but the game itself doesn't work :S. Any help would be appreciated :D

EzyDuzIt I usualy use Verbatim DVD+R, but this time I used TDK DVD+R, and I`m always burn my DVD`s with 2x speed with alcohol or Nero, usualy when I rebuild iso everything is OK but this time I have no idea what to do?!Just like I said I`ve downloaded the compress with rar iso. After unpacking the size was 2,2 GB, after rebuilding the size was almost the same. Maybe theres something wrong with iso? ...but why the blue screen appears in swap magic??I have no clue?!please help:)

erm well i use swap magic 3.6, burned it at 2x or 2.4x(cant really remember which one) using Nero in UDF/ISO mode. I think u must have either rebuilt incorrectly or ur booting incorrectly cos ur burn speed and media is spot on. Try rebuilding it again, but copy the files from isobuster on the desktop first(into a folder), before transferring them into nero(same order in isobuster top to bottom). Then burn it and have no other programs on. Then boot it with swap magic, using "special boot", with video mode normal.

If this doesn't work i assume ur swap magic is a different version than 3.6, because my ps2(PAL) ran this game perfectly using exactly the same burning and booting method i explained above.

Thanks EzyDuzIt, I`ll try u`r way:)but first I`ll have to get newer version of swap magic, becouse mine is too old:)Normaly I rebuild iso with isobuster and cdvd generator, and all works fine (fifa2006, total overdose) but maybe this game is diffrent, well u`r way is worth of trying. Once again thanks for your time and help:)

Finally got the game today, backed it up with no probs..straight copy using dvd decrypter to read iso to disc, and nero to burn the image file at 6x on ritekG05 8x max media.

Excellent game by the way ;)

I got the Xbox version. Pretty fun game. Not so much like God Of War. You fight many more enemies at one time, and the combo system isn't nearly as good as GoW.
