i know how to copy an image file of my game on my Hard Drive, and i know how to burn it but when i go to play it in my PS2 (Slim series, no mods, or anything liek that original hardware) it says " Please insert a Playstation or Playstation 2 formated disc! How can i get past that without using mods, swap magic, etc.

also the game im trying to back-up properly is "Katamari Damcy" and i burned it on a DVD/RW i don't know if that has anything to do with it. So please help me with this one im lost. and i want to do it without using any form of mods, swap magic, etc.

I'll say this once...
You cannot play backups without a modchip or a swapmagic with a fliptop/slidecard

Hope this answer doesn't seem to harsh, but it's the only thing i can tell you.

ok cause i read once that you can burn in PS2 format. thats what i read so i dont know and is there any mod/ slide card that i can use that is fairly cheap and does not require me to open me ps2 (slim series)

oo and also when i went to write an iso file using DVD Decrypter it went to 99% then said falied.so i tryed using Alcohol 120% and it went to 100% then it failed also the game is "Katamari Damcy" can i have some help on that also thanks

Can't help you on the game, since i don't own it, and as i remember, there have been more people asking help on that game, all to no avail...
As for the modchips and such, you'll have to open up your ps2 in some way with all methods.
A modchip obviously needs a full opening up, for a slidecard you'd need to open up the ps2 tray cover and insert some parts, the fliptop should be obvious.

You could also just have the modchip put in by a (local) modchip installing company *there are loads of those, worldwide*, so it doesn't have to be too hard.
