Hey I traded in my ps2 console for one of the newer PS2's that r slim. They wouldnt take it, so i figured whatever i could use another 40gigs on my PC. It isn't working tho, it took me 4 days to get it to show up in My Computer, but now when i try and open the drive it says "E:\ is not accessible Te parameter is incorrect." what does this mean? after i click ok it tells me that the drive is not formatted and asks if i want to format it now. this doesnt change anything, when it get twards the end of formatting it says "the drive cannot be formatted". anyone know how i can get this working?

have you tried deleting partion, creating new partions and then formatting the new partition?

yes i have i had to do that so it would show up in my computer. i checked the jumper settings from the maxtor site since they are the ones who manufactured the HD and they seem to be in the right place. i am going to try and re-do the whole partition thing see if that helps but its too late to do it tonight, thanks for the reply
