I opened (clicked on open instead of save to disk)up a torrent file to download instead of saving the torrent file to my hardrive first. I presume when I shut down my computer it is gone for good and I can't resume downloading. I also presume that the only way you are able to continue downloading after a pause is when you SAVED the torrent file in a folder and then open it up with your Burst or whatever program.

2. Which are the best torrent files to download, one with alot of leeches and seeders?

3. Which files are the easiest to transfer to DVD or the clearest?

Hope this is not to many questions at once. Thanks Ed

First off this should have been asked in the P2P forum. But dont double post it in there. Maybe a mod will come along and switch it to that forum.

When you open a torrent, it should place the torrent in the directory your saving the torrent files to. So go to the directory you save your torrent downloads to and the torrent file itself should be there.

Most torrents will go faster the more seeders and leachers there is.

If you come across a torrent with Zero seeders then your not going to get the whole file. Either the seeders are offline and not seeding the torrent or there isnt anyone that is seeding the torrent at all. If it is no seeders at all then you will have a dead torrent file. You wont bebale to get the full torrent. So its always best to get a torrent with alot of seeders.

As of the torrents easiest to transfer to DVD most easiest are ISO files or IMG files. if your talking about quility movie files, then there really isnt a way to tell. Unless of course there are sample clips of the movie with the torrent files. If there are sample clips then set the sample clips as High priority when you start the download. That way those files will be downloaded first so you can see what the video looks like.

Other words you will have to take your chances and download the file and hope it is of good quility. Also when you go to sites with toreents and click on a torrent see if there is any comments added on the torrent about the file quility.
