No, don't even waste a penny on that crap period.

You need to use high quality media such as genuine Taiyo Yuden (or the Fuji & Sony 8X DVD+R "Made In Japan" is also real Yuden media), Verbatim, Maxell "Made In Japan", TDK, and Ritek.
