hi,

ive been using dvd santa to put .avi onto dvd-r, most dvd's come out fine, but with a couple of goes the playback pauses a frame every second for a split second throughout the movie, please help

Try another encoder (e.g. VSO DivxToDVD) first to see if things are better. Also, do not burn with DVDSanta, use e.g. Nero instead:
