I wonder if somebody can help me?

I have made a backup of my burnout 3 take down disk as follows:

created an ISO file on my HD using DVDdecrypter
open this ISO with ISO buster and extracted the DNAS and IOPRP files
open each file using dnas_id.exe and patched
ijected these files back in using winimage
burned to DVD using DVDdecrypter

yet I still get DNAS error when trying to play online. one thing I have noticed is if I load my playstation up with the discid util and place in the backed up game I am still getting random generated id's as if it hasn't been patched.

This is the first game that I have ever attempted to back-up and I am pretty sure I am doing it correctly.

if I open the ISO file using PS"NFO.exe and scan the file the ID that I added shows up.

I am very confused any help will be great.

doesn't matter if you have a patched or unpatched backup. Backups will always display random IDs. Try using windip to patch the iso with the ID see if that helps.

OK so it doesn't matter that the random ID's are displayed.

could you give any advice on the below.
yesterday I backed up my copy of toca race driver 2 and then patched the image with the same id using windip when I tried to play it online it would not let me select a profile so I thought I would delete the existing profile and create another the only problem is when I try to create a profile it comes back with an error stating that it may be because the user name password or email could be wrong.
as a test without rebooting I placed the original of the game in the system and then pressed X to create the profile again and it went through without an issue.

any ideas?

OK as I said this was the first game I have tried and I was having doubts but I have tried Fifa 2006 and this has worked fine so maybe it was just a problem with Toca.

Thanks for your help.
