Hi all, i'm new to this forum and hope to be around for a long time.
My question is about the new film "The Brown Bunny". I am unable to decrypt it in either DVDDecrypter,AnyDVD or DVD43. Is this a new encryption from Sony? Any help would be much appreciated. I hope i have put this in the correct forum...

Hi there,

What version of AnyDVD are you running ?

AnyDVD v5.4.4.1 is the latest, maybe you should try an upgrade if you are not running the latest !

I agree w/ cougar_ii. Any DVD should handle it. This movie is not being released by Sony- none of their crazy protection should be on it.
What's the error you receive? Try cleaning off the disc also. Another free prog that has kinda taken over in decrypter place is dvd fab decrypter - try that one also.

i use a prog called DVD Shrink also try running AnyDVD in the background whilst using DVD Shrink.

Thanks for the reply guys. The error that came up while using the new version of AnyDVD was "Parameters incorrect" which i have never seen on any dvd i have tried to backup, and there have been more than a few...
I downloaded DVD Fabdecrypter and it worked first time. i just found it weird that AnyDVD and DVD43 both failed in getting rid of the encryption. Again thanks for the replys.

CloneDVD 2 with AnyDVD WILL do the movie( doing the movie only) thats how i did it

BTW it is a HORRIBLE movie theres nothing to it a guy driving around the country racing his bike ,its probably the WORST movie i ever watched
