hi can anyone help me? ive tried making back ups of my dvd,s but with limited success.just recently ive bought some films from a car boot sale which will play on both of my standalone players and when ive opened the files up they have been iso image files.how and what programme do i use to rip my dvds and then make them into an isoimage file so that they play in both of my players.films under 4.3 gig i find quiet easy to do but when over 4.3 thats when the problems starts.i understand that i have to rip the movie first using dvd decrypter and then compress it using dvd2one but then how do i burn it back as an image file?

what guides are you using to do your dvds?
what kinds of problems are you experiencing?

ive been using the guides that i found on vcdhelp.com and also on cdrom guides.when i use dvd decrypter i go intoedit and then select main movie files whcih i then put onto my hard drive.from there i use dvd2one and go select the folder from my hard drive and then highlight the longest plying time selection there and then create another folder for it to go to along with an AUDIO_TS file as well.after this i burn them to disc either using nero or prassi.the end result is a disc that will play on one player but not another.on one player i find that it shows the audio and video folders which i open up and then press the file which shows the vobs and it plays ok.now the dvds that i get from the car boot sale play fine in both players so i tried opening the dvd up in my computer to find that they are an iso image file and also it shows that there is also an mds file as well.so is it the way i burn them after using dvd decrypter and then dvd2one or am i not burning them as an iso image file and something else instead?
