Swap Magic and a flip top
you can get these as a package deal most places
or a good modchip (DMS4 Pro, DMS4 Lite, Matrix Infinity)
Or if you can't solder get the DMS4 EZI Pro solderless chip
chips are the best solution if you do not play games online.
If you do then go with Swap Magic & Flip top and you will just
have to deal with the rebuilding of some games

Or you can send it here and have them put in a chip for you
It would cost you about $50 for a chip + shipping
and about another $50 for an install
Or you can buy an already premodded PS2

you can also install a HD into your PS2 and use the memory card exploit to run them...
use winhiip to install them to your HD..
Only bad thing about this is that you need to remove your HD from your PS2 and install it in you PC to install the games you download...
There is a way to do it via ftp, but I'm not completely sure how to do this...
Do a little research, and i know you will find the answers you seek...

There are many different ways to burn games...
The method I use, which is different than other people, is to create an image of the PS2 DVD with Alcohol 120%. Once the image is created, I burn that image using the slowest speed allowable.
Sure, burning a DVD takes about 45 minutes, but in the end, you have alot less mis-burned DVD's...
Alot of people say to use high quality DVD's, but I use the Plain White Princo Brand...
I buy them for about 30 cents a piece online.
I have had a very good record with these...
But other people may say otherwise...
As for your PS2 Version, I'd say Version 7, But I'm mainly guessing.
hope this was helpful..
