patching a game for HDLoader?

Hey...
so, the deal is this: my poor ps2 cant read any mode discs. laser dead. so i play only from the HD with an exploit. all good. BUT, some games (namely: SSX On Tour) do not work with HDLoader! so, who knows of a possible way to resolve this? (other than fixing the laser).
Help will be much appriciated!

u could try google.com or check the compatibility list for hdloader
http://homepage.ntlworld.com/casey.miller/HD%20Loader%20Compatibi... or get a new ps2 laser or use the modes by pressing select on the hilighted game

yeah, modes didnt do the trick, any combination.
its too new to be on the list, and im trying to avoid the laser purchase.
Im looking for something along patching the iso...
anyone know anything about this?
