PCSX2 cant open ISO files???

can any1 help me

I am PCSX2 emulator with bin/bios.... and such. I also have an ISO file of a game (created from Dvd Decrypter). when I try to open the iso file on the emulator I get a black screen with reading on top left corner:

FPS 11.12 -- Frameskip on - FC: 17376

and the number keeps counting upwards. I left it alone for almost 1/2 hour and it just keeps counting up.

I tried this meathod on 2 diffrent machines but same results.

any suggestion??

I don't think any of the ps2 emulators play retail games properly right now.

if the ps2 emulator doesnt play retail cd iso files, is there any other options? what if I were to download iso files.
