these are GENUINE and AUTHENTIC Taiyo Yudens with the TYG02 coding...naturally, MADE IN JAPAN and buying from supermediastore, you can rest assured they are REAL, not some knock-off FAKE TYs~ :)
good pricing on these too~ when looking for AUTHENTIC Taiyo Yudens, a good price range is 100/$40 or 50/$20...you should NEVER pay more than that...this is very high quality stuff and you will not be disappointed.

Those are genuine Yuden media, so you should be fine. In addition, "supermediastore" is legit and reputable for carrying Taiyo Yuden and Verbatim products. However, I like their 8X DVD+R (Silver Inkjet & Hub printable media) better. Once my 8X DVD+R Silver Inkjet runs out, I might just try the Hub printable to see if I dig them as much as the Silver.
Again, anything from TY is good, so don't you worry about them. Taiyo Yuden ROCK...!!

:) you and your printables alkohol, i gotta say i DO LOVE your scans on them...you KNOW i prefer the silver printables over the white ones too~ it's all about the "hologram" effect for me~ :)

Honestly, I prefer the silver printable (especially with my R300 printer and the hologram effects - it looks 99.99% professional), but I just want to try at least 50 from them hub printable and see what's the results that's all.
Yeah, TYs for LIFE...(as long as Yuden Co. Ltd exist, I'll continue to support them regardless) and YES, Taiyo Yuden ROCK..!!

hy0517, those are the ones I'm currently using. Those discs are excellent! Highly recommended media right there!
When I use up all the ones I have now, I'll probably order some TY DVD+Rs. I'd like to try some booktyping.
I just watched Kingdom of Heaven that I burned onto a TY disc and the quality is awesome! I just did the main movie and burned at 4x, so the quality is very good.

it's kinda funny how closely our setups resemble each others :)
1. we have the same drive that we use regularly for our backups
2. same choice of media (printables AND non-printables)
3. same printer to do our pictures on our printable media
4. we both like the "hologram" effect
5. we both condemn CMC MAG discs like it's the end of the world
6. and we both have made the statement, "Taiyo Yuden Rock!" our catchphrase...
creepy actually, are you my long lost brother in a different state?

anyways, back on topic, these 8x DVD-R TYG02s from supermediastore are an OUTSTANDING buy, you will get QUALITY media for a GOOD price~ :)

for 100 pack real taiyo yuden 8x DVD-R at $32.99, that is the best price i ever seen for the best dvd media. great deal.
